Going deeper
When a slide raises a question the lesson doesn't answer, Go deeper turns that question into an explainer of its own. The button sits in the top corner of the player, and it's in the right-click menu too.
Playback pauses and a card opens, naming the slide you were on. Whatever you ask becomes a brand-new explainer, with the lesson you were watching and that slide handed in as context, so a question like "why does that step matter?" lands without you having to restate the topic.
The new explainer is yours. It goes on your profile and keeps the teacher of the one you were watching, and it is otherwise unconnected to it. You need an account, so Explain asks you to sign in when you submit.
Go deeper is something you reach for mid-lesson. For the card that arrives on its own when a lesson ends, see follow-ups.
Embedded explainers
Go deeper isn't offered on an explainer embedded in another site, including the ones on these pages. Open it on scrimba.com to ask a question.
